Join us in the worship of our Lord, Jesus Christ as we fellowship together as brothers and sisters in the family of God.

On Sunday mornings we have Sunday School for both youth and adults at 10 AM.  This is immediately followed at 11 AM by our Worship Service.  To learn more about what topics we are currently discussing or what areas we have covered, please visit our Teachings & Preachings page.

Throughout the month we have various fellowship opportunities to include Dinner on the Grounds the first Sunday of every month.  To learn more about special Sunday events, view our Calendar of Events.

Naruna Baptist as a congregation has chosen to order our worship in a way that is not designed to be a sensory overload. Instead, looking back to the rich tradition of the past, we have chosen to sing hymns while being accompanied by a piano. We believe that it is not only commanded of each of us to “break forth and sing for joy,” (Psalm 98:4) but also a privilege. As such, we have opted to focus less on the flashiness of contemporary worship and instead to worship with our eyes, ears, and hearts fixed on the celebration of the one true God.

If you are not a singer, come listen to God’s people as they praise Him in thanksgiving and with humble hearts.

Generally, after our opening prayer until the congregation is sent out, it is roughly an hour. However, due to the nature of some passages of Scripture which need further explanation, Sundays when the Lord’s Supper is enjoyed together, or due to other mitigating factors service can run slightly longer or slightly shorter. However, as much as possible the pastor attempts to keep the service to an hour in length to respect the need for consistency in scheduling.

We are located at  9170 FM 1478, 8 miles south of Lampasas, TX.  You can view a Google Map here.

Dress as you feel led for our worship service, the majority of our congregation will be found in jeans and a collared t-shirt. If you prefer a suit and tie or no collar on your shirt, that is fine too. We are less concerned about the condition of your clothes than we are the condition of your soul. We will not judge you based on how you choose to dress.
